I find Starmer's intervention distasteful. The decision to ban the fans was based upon local police advice. Starmer's view is formed by the Israeli embassy. Worried about China's influence? Look to Israel and worry about that.

UEFA have a long history of banning or fining clubs for fan behaviour. Tel Aviv Maccabi have not been banned or reprimanded it seems. There is no justification for any hate crime but perhaps there is some fair reasoning as to why officials in Birmingham have made their decision.
