An article? That's hard. I'd honestly say the AHR forum around David Silverman's really unfortunate book review a few years back—it's a series of v v short articles. I had to read it for my second master's, & it's so methodology useful that I used/cited it in my doctoral diss.

Setting aside my (quite obvious) views on trans inclusion, this is an incredibly important point. Far from giving ‘clarity’ the EHRC guidance on top of the Supreme Court ruling has created a situation where very similar tribunals can give entirely opposite rulings. It’s a complete mess for everyone.

I would like to once again emphasise that the ET entirely exonerated (and indeed went out of its way to say it was doing so) the trans woman who has been so publicly monstered in this case.

I find this sickening, tbh. The claim that simply being in the presence of a trans woman creates a “a hostile, humiliating and degrading environment” for cis women could not be more transphobic* if it tried. *Literally: showing discrimination against, aversion to, or fear of, transgender people

In every photo I see, every time, I cannot get over the fact that they’re all wearing masks. Police don’t wear masks. Everyday soldiers don’t wear masks. Thugs, criminals and special forces (ie those from whom swift violence is expected) conceal their faces. The signal could not be clearer.
