Now this is the part of the SHP Yorkshire History Forum that created the biggest FOMO for me, Yorkshire Museum bringing their Viking Artefacts to handle!

I went to see #kaetempest at Brixton Academy last night and it was one of the most uplifting, beautiful gigs I've ever been to. There was so much love in the room, so much resistance. The final act of the show was an absolute masterpiece, a spoken word montage of lyrics that blew me away ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Can I echo @historyrichk.bsky.social, it's so helpful to get your feedback on the OCR SHP GCSE courses, we really want to make sure that we continue to develop, adapt and grow the course.

This is a v imp. piece of research which deserves to be widely read and more importantly, actioned. The continued lack of wider representation clearly indicates that more needs to be done. @1972shp.bsky.social has always championed diversity but we also need to do more to ensure a fairer curriculum

Heading home after a magical weekend in Leeds for #SHP25. So many awesome moments, but this poetry performance by Natalie Davies perfectly encapsulated some of the key themes: the power of the voice, and the emotional connection it carries, which enables a meaningful understanding of the past.
