This article should be read by every teacher of history. A powerful analysis of the why and the how of teaching about the Holocaust in an age of misinformation and conspiracy theory. Brilliant writing from

I went to see
#kaetempest
at Brixton Academy last night and it was one of the most uplifting, beautiful gigs I've ever been to. There was so much love in the room, so much resistance. The final act of the show was an absolute masterpiece, a spoken word montage of lyrics that blew me away ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This is a v imp. piece of research which deserves to be widely read and more importantly, actioned. The continued lack of wider representation clearly indicates that more needs to be done.
@1972shp.bsky.social
has always championed diversity but we also need to do more to ensure a fairer curriculum

Please do read this! Lots of overlaps between English and History and some potential ways forward to address some of the challenges we face. It's good to kick down those silos!

Heading home after a magical weekend in Leeds for
#SHP25
. So many awesome moments, but this poetry performance by Natalie Davies perfectly encapsulated some of the key themes: the power of the voice, and the emotional connection it carries, which enables a meaningful understanding of the past.
