8 Million protesters yesterday at #NoKings. No police beaten with flag poles. No fire extinguishers thrown at other humans. No vandalism or theft. No racist flags. No zip ties. No death threats. No pipe bombs. No poop smeared on walls. That's what happens when mature, civilized people protest.

The allegory is so loud it's giving me a headache.

That millions of people at #NoKings yesterday isn't today's New York Times' headline is shameful. That the only mention is way down the page, doesn't mention the number of protesters, but does talk about Pro-Trump counter-protesters, like that was a factor, seems intentional. Don't trust the NYT.

Many people won’t visit or accommodate the disabled because it’s “too hard” or being around sickness “steals their joy”. It’s the same people who will tell us to “try harder” to be well. It’s too hard to accommodate us but we should be able to magically get better? Ableism.
