Does anyone know how RT works? I saw a meme and thought it must be fake news. But no. MELANIA has a 99% rating. So, curious, I clicked to see these 500+ critics who are all saying how great it is. But the vast majority of them are negative.

I keep imagining what it must be like to be living at this point in history, and not just being content with the state of America, but actually thinking things are looking up! I guess for those old enough to remember the whole Obama era, this same crowd felt similar then, to how I feel now.

I've got a lot of high-risk family. This is sadly so familiar. On the plus side, we've been masking in public (well-fitted N-95) since 2020, require family who visit/stay with us to do the same for 2 weeks prior, and have not been sick once since then.

This is why the US has not, at all, acknowledged covid as a mass death event, and part of why it refuses to acknowledge it is also an ongoing mass disabling event (with millions more grieving for the futures it made impossible to them)
