I'm carrying Wampler's torch for a razor-sharp Needful Things remake. Seems right in Zach Cregger's or Rian Johnson's wheelhouse, and no better time than now to tell that story.

It's the slight cant to the mask that gives this image off-the-charts cartoon energy, like Vader's just accidentally eaten a ghost pepper or there's a Tex Avery awooga situation going on with Sabé.

V for Vendetta HBO series? Verily. Venerable platform. No better timing to tell such a valiant and virtuous story. Needs a visionary storyteller and cast.

A while back I realized there are people who are like center puzzle pieces, in that they joyfully connect and bind with all these surrounding pieces that might otherwise share only one or no other connection point. I try to be like that irl and online, and I gravitate toward the same.
