Alias: Anita Louise Gilavish EvansLocation: Calgary, AlbertaDate of birth: October 5, 1953Anita's date of death: January 1992 The body of Anita Gilavish was discovered in a pond at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary in the eastern part of Calgary on January 18, 1992. Anita's family members said that at the time was struggling with substance use disorder and associated with a "rough crowd". The Calgary Police Service have never officially solved Anita's murder, however investigators and independent criminologists have looked into potential ties to transient serial offenders active in Western Canada during that era.

Mikie Sherrill’s state police destroyed the mutual aid tent for families of the detained that had been in operation at Delaney Hall for more than a year, providing clothes, food, even stuffies for the kids. They just trashed it. I’m pretty speechless at the kind of person you have to be to do this
