I have learned from the wisdom of my elders (testing out a layout for a thing to see how much room for text it has, filling that space with lorem ipsum, and then putting that quantity of lorem ipsum into the document where I am writing the actual real text so I can keep it around that length)

the reason so few fantasy bullshit games aptly emulate LOTR/The Hobbit is that the parties are all too small. most RPGs don't want you to have 13 dwarves or a handful of bonus hobbits in your crew just hanging out. how are you supposed to have a fantasy bullshit adventure with only four dudes?

thinking of readjusting back to having a medieval view of the seasons, where there's really only two - summer is from March to September and winter is from September to March. spring and fall are just variant forms of summer and winter. this way "midsummer" and "midwinter" are real things again
