Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up. I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

This is what frustrates me so much about these articles: Propagating the narrative that large numbers of kids are faking disabilities is just going to result in a world where disabled people are *even more* scrutinized when they ask for accommodations!

It always gets on my nerves when people say the “Old Testament” is so violent and disturbing, compared to the supposedly much more peaceful and loving “New Testament.” I think we have to look at them as different genres. One is a warts-and-all family memoir, while the other is more like self-help.
