Amazing how assignment due dates induce an abnormal amount of last minute sickness claims and extension requests. (Those who read the syllabus & listen in class know extensions are only granted if they demonstrate sufficient work-in-progress up to the point of getting sick & derailed.)

I cannot recommend this book enough, especially for those who have never been taught about varying atonement theory and have only been taught penal substitutionary atonement as if it's fact and gospel - the way I was.

White Christian churches have become the main epicenters for the movement to destroy American democracy. If we're serious about ending MAGA, we've got to directly confront the white Christian nationalism being preached in these churches.
