Giving teen girl media its fair shake means putting a huge amount of effort into understanding what is ultimately a very straightforward film. It would be so easy to just say "it is Nicholas Sparks, neither of us like it, and Miley should be in a better film," but that wasn't good enough for me.

One of the favorite things about blindly buying this movie was getting progressively more threatening shipping updates telling me that These Old Broads were "on the way" or "almost there."
