I am glad I decided to stop attending TTRPG cons before the onset of COVID. At my last big one, I extended the trip by a few days and spent those taking pictures in beautiful places. It was so much less stressful and more fulfilling I ultimately forsook the cons in favor of photo trips.

Today we honor the legendary Nichelle Nichols on her birthday. As Uhura, she didn’t just help define Trek, she changed the future. Her impact reached far beyond the screen, partnering with NASA to recruit women and people of color, shaping a real-life space program as bold as the one she imagined.

Spent the day developing my large format black and whites from my trip to Maine. Two film holders remain still, which should contain the most interesting shots. Learning some lessons still: I need to label the film holders, and I need to check some of them for leaks.

This is an amazing shot! Having shot a few cameras that old now, I will attest to the difficulty in framing and timing that had to go into a shot as amazing as this.

I hold a very moderate position on immigration: Anyone should be able to move to & from any country, for any reason, and reside as long as they like, so long as they identify themselves upon crossing the border.

I'm not a wrestling fan, but this game is responsible for some absurdly good times around the table. If you like big personalities, big action, and big beefs (while secretly being best buds behind the scenes), this is the game for you.
