I have read comics my entire life. I have seen some of the most mid superhero movies in theaters, and even enjoyed them. I saw Green Lantern and went “that was okay.” Batman vs. Superman was so bad, it actually dissuaded me from seeing a Justice League movie. To this day, I haven’t watched it.

Counterpoint: it’s one of the worst genre movies ever made, and doesn’t get the level of contempt it deserves. It fundamentally does not understand the characters it adapts, and it shows a level of disdain for anyone that dared critique Man of Steel. On top of all that? Good LORD, it’s boring.
