Currently walking to a local art and music festival today in a nearby park. Wearing the 2008 Chapman 3rd kit. Two “Let’s go Arsenal!”s and one “Yanited!” so far. The first two were met with the correct salute, the third a very swift (and a bit too loud for the nearby kids) “Get fucked dickhead!”

🚨 Since his penalty miss in the
#UCL
final, Arsenal supporters have made Gabriel the top-selling shirt name at the club. His printed name is up 350% since Saturday’s final. At one stage he was outselling any other name x2.

Gabriel’s shirt sales increase by 350% after missing penalty in Arsenal’s Champions League final defeat
Gabriel said the defeat as “painful” but also said he is “proud” of his Arsenal team and everything they had achieved during the season.

I'm not okay with liking a billionaire's anything, let alone their nepo-baby offspring. But Josh seems as okay as one of those can be, as far as that goes. Plus, the shirt is an excellent choice.

Funny that rival fans think we're boring yet watch all our games. They think the club is "cringe" yet still watched the parade. They think our fanbase is shit but on a spontaneous Tuesday night 100,000+ of us danced the night away & then a million lined the streets to celebrate our "shit team"

Won’t lie. I was stoic and proud as fuck. Still am. But the sad is hitting me a little bit, now, as the night sinks in and the long, long day winds down. They offered next to nothing, we curbed their threat magnificently, and but for two kicks of the ball we’re champions of Europe. Gutted.

This Arsenal side has come a long, long way. Yet in our current guise we still aren’t ready to go toe to toe with PSG, so the game plan was sound. Never felt PSG would score in open play. Defended superbly. Fine margins just didn’t go Arsenal’s way. Stronger next year 💪🏼

We didn't lose a CL match all season. We took the best in Europe all the way. They couldn't score past us from open play in over 120 mins of football. I'm proud of The Arsenal & so should you be. Buzzing for next season already. 🏆 ❤️🤍

That's football. Shit happens. Gabriel? The best player tonight. This said, whoever is rejoicing in the success of a club built on the money of a dictatorship holding together through the systematic exploitation of 90% of its population should take some time to reflect on their world view. Bisous!

Bloodied, but unbowed. That’s my read. Everyone in Europe now knows that the best attacking team in the world can’t and didn’t muster anything against us. Upon those rocks, we have and will build this ship. Forward.

How did Arsenal become a home for Black players and fans?
After two decades, long-suffering Gunners fans from across the diaspora have been rewarded with a Premier League win. So why has this sometimes beleaguered team earned such adulation?

It’s kinda weird that nobody talks about how Man City bottled it. With 5 games to go they had it in their own hands yet they ended 7 points behind Arsenal.
