After decades of working in the tech industry, I'm convinced that the jobs most easily replaced by AI are the typical senior executive roles occupied typically by mediocre white men. AI can already generate plausible-sounding and confidently wrong takes. That's 90% of the job.

I'm reading Astro City by @kurtbusiek.bsky.social for the 1st time & it's a revelation. It feels real. Honest, human stories. Characters I can believe in and sympathise with. Stories that make my soul smile, wince, ache. Quality work. It should be mentioned in the same breath as the greatest comics.

Okay yeah, This feels like a mix of AI Slop, Trace Photo Ref, and Actual (mostly rushed) Art, all made to hide the duct tape and glue. Im kinda mad I backed the Kickstarter, checking that now they REALLLLLLY hid this. AWA Studios really pocketed 100K in Kickstarter Money and ran with this.
