An RPG where you play a ranger's animal companion. And the ranger is played by the GM as this vaguely benevolent (?) but inscrutable higher power that gives you tasks and treats but also keeps leading you into danger. It's a game about religion, of course.

It's eye-opening to check out reviews for games you've played a lot. Seeing reviewers miss what seem to be fundamental things about a game makes you question just how much attention they paid or what was lost from play to text/podcast.
