It's time to start back up my Disney Anthology Sunday recaps for on this date 70 years ago Season 2 of the "Disneyland" show presented the network television premiere of "Dumbo". In order to squeeze the entire feature film into a 50 minute time slot there were some obvious edits (HEAVY edits) 🧵

The Mickey Mouse Revue closed after nearly 9 years in operation on this day in 1980. It was dismantled and shipped to Tokyo Disneyland, making it the first major Magic Kingdom attraction to leave the Florida park since its opening.
