House Dems on oversight releasing these emails and controlling the narrative is the kind of shit republicans always do but they have to make shit up and mischaracterize their source material. The House Dems have proven my thesis that this can be done effectively without lying. Well done.

There were once dreams of eradicating measles - I remember discussion on it in my MSc epi class. The loss of progress on measles is not only a health loss for kids (measles can be disabling & deadly), it’s also a massive economic loss. We save billions/yr not having to vaccinate & treat smallpox.

So the next time you read a hit piece on a Democrat who called them out or see some self-righteous bullshit about how they seek the truth without fear or favor, pull out this email and ask: What did the NY Times know and when did they know it? You will get nothing but crickets from them in response.

I hate that this has to be said over and over again, but abusers don't abuse everyone, they abuse some people and that selective abuse is a big part of how they cover their tracks. I don't even know if what she is saying is true, but even if it is, it's not proof of anything.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills: the emails from Landon Thomas has his New York Times signature block...he was employed by NY Times at the time. He was communicating directly with Epstein about Trump, and was given incriminating information about Trump. It's been in NYT's possession since 2015

Concern that gambling threatens the integrity of sports is not a matter of "moralizing mythmaking" and never has been; it is a simple preference on the part of viewers and fans for the sports they watch to be broadly legitimate competitions.

All the Epstein emails are powerful elites saying shit like “Hello my friend the pedophile, i need your advice as a pedophile, what do you think about this other pedophile? Pedophilic Regards, your Friend ;)” and instead of swinging from a gibbet most of them are still writing op-eds against leftism

In fact, B&N has been expanding rather a bit recently; their sales are up and they've refreshed their stores. And independent books stores have been growing in numbers too! It's been quite a turnaround for brick and mortar bookstores in the last couple of years. I hope it lasts.

Epstein was old enough to be part of a generation of men who never needed to learn how to type, particularly if they were wealthy or in managerial positions. Women did it for them. Literally. He was probably right in the last generation of non-typing men.

This is not an aberration, nor is it a titillating tale of pervy old guys. The oppression of women, including via sexual crimes, is a pillar of the global POLITICAL economy. It's why power & wealth are distributed as they are: maintaining that distribution requires collective action by many men.
