The fact they know they need to keep the "standard" rules at the end of the 4th quarter shows you exactly how stupid this would be to implement in the first place.

Hey, Supergirl was a lot of fun. Got a girl and her dog story, got some ronin samurai element to it, Momoa is a way better fit as Lobo and there's just enough of him before it gets annoying, solid popcorn flick.

As the parent of an "elite" athlete, and an expert on privileged parenting, I'm also *deeply* skeptical of the idea that families are using sports to try to get scholarships. It costs *so much* to get your kid to the D1 (or even D2) level, that you'd be better off just saving the money for college.

Not a great economy alert! Wall Street Bets users think Palantir spiked today because The Onion story titled “Palantir Acquires Pentagon for $800 Billion” hit their front page. They’re guessing trading bots indexed the top post on the subreddit reddit not understanding source.

The AI industry is full of losers that know that the underlying economics don't make sense, which is why they're oinking and squawking at an Exponential View report built explicitly to excite them with key-jingling and questionable data.

Ford has rehired hundreds of senior engineers after replacing them with AI backfired and has cost the company billions of dollars. AI adoption is blamed for Ford being the most recalled automaker in the U.S. with 51 recalls covering over 11 million vehicles in the first half of 2026 alone.

It's striking that many political reporters cover their beat like it's another sport -- who's ahead? who's struggling? who's the next big star? -- and yet they're still unable to ask basic follow up questions and demand accountability like actual sports reporters.
