CNN has a solid, well-funded newsroom, regardless of the network’s editorial slant. a lot of good reporters will lose their jobs, and the public will lose all the stories they would’ve reported. and they are one of the last newsrooms to pay for costly but critical on the ground war correspondents.

I recommend not watching the videos, which are chaotic and gut-wrenching, and instead going through Bellingcat's analysis. This man appeared to be zero threat, while the officers were overly-aggressive, agitated, and clearly primed to used lethal force.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
