We've reached a new level of "the Van Wyck sucks" which is that a section of it is actually just fully closed so everyone had to get on the service road. Fun! Exactly what I need at 1am. At least the taxi line was pretty reasonable so I didn't bother dealing with the shuttle bus/ride app lot mess.

On the plus side, I finally got what I've been begging for for years every time I take this flight back from SF and we landed at one of the closest gates instead of the furthest. On the other hand... the walk from any B gate to baggage claim in T4 is still absurd.

I thoroughly enjoy how the entire online figure skating community has decided that this competition is called Chinese Nebelhorn 🤣 We're landing soon so I will not be getting to watch for now but hopefully I can catch up tomorrow and maybe get some of the women's SP when I wake up.

I think it's partially because I was distracted by Big Life Things at the time but the flight here on Sunday (6ish hours) completely flew [😬🤷🏻‍♀️] by and this slightly-over-5-hour-long return is dragging so badly. Time of day not helping either but still. I have 90+ min to go and I'm dying.
