So many are using all their energy to loudly distinguish themselves from the rest, which is how I know they're full of SHIT.

This is why it’s alarming to Black folks that white people have allowed suffering for so long because it has been in service to whiteness and now that white middle class people seeing how it affects them too, they are all ready to activate. It’s a borderless foundation built on white supremacy.

If this user were a white person who has consistently been defending marginalized groups, particularly in their own country, then this conversation would have never inspired a response out of them but since whiteness demands defense, loyalty, and perceived innocence, they lunged into action.

For the class: This is an example of how whiteness will use various tactics to derail a point in defense of its demanded innocence. Notice how this user moves the topics from white inaction to white disabled folks as if it excuses any criticism in op’s message. Notice how this is also a Canadian.

What we're seeing in the "don't sign up for protests" discourse is what Paulo Freire described as the convert's failure to trust the knowledge of the oppressed. As the convert tries to stand in solidarity with the oppressed, they refuse to let go of a world where they were the authority by default.

Even giving them the benefit of the doubt, their calculations make no sense. The right will not stop attacking bluesky just because you ban random leftists. They hate you. They will ALWAYS hate you. This is not a growth avenue for you. All this does is suppress your ACTUAL audience.

Even now, journalists are being banned for quoting their own articles. This is it. The big purge they've wanted to do for ages. Either its actively malicious OR they're scared shitless of the rightwing media/government apparatus coming after them. Either way, they're cowardly collaborators.

From the beginning us being here was a giant mistake. They wanted a malleable libertarian tech-bro audience because thats where the money is. Instead they got a bunch of broke trans people, furries, sex workers, POC and assorted leftists. They've hated us since day ONE and just needed an excuse.

If bluesky bans me again I want you to know this: @jay.bsky.team and @aaron.bsky.team collaborate with fascists on twitter in order to choose specific accounts to ban. They work with nazis directly because they despise the leftist audience they've unwillingly acquired and they want us gone.
