Personal opinion: Doctor Who needs to be more like mid-to-late-season MacGyver. Less emotional trauma and universe-ending stakes, and more just dropping in on a bad situation where somebody’s in a rough spot or being taken advantage of, and putting it right through compassion and ingenuity.

Farscape was just THAT show, you don't get how wacky it was. All those jokes in Lower Decks about getting trapped inside a painting? They did it. Strange energies? SO MANY episodes where that happens. Mind clone inserted into a brain chip? Done and Done. AND IT HAS PUPPETS
