A national treasure. I know he inspired me over and over again. He made me laugh and he made me shed tears of empathy and shared sadness. Our Dr Dagly was a super hero of heart and integrity. Talk about living life to its fullest and giving every moment your all… Fare forward.

Like many of you, I never met Dr. Darren Markland, but I felt I knew him through his posts. He was a particularly valuable voice during the height of the pandemic, and reminded us all through his work in the ICU how important it was to take care of ourselves and each other in uncertain times.👇🏼
