It’s been three years since 10 people went on a grocery run in Buffalo, New York and never made it home. An entire community was torn apart by an armed white supremacist. Racist violence has cost far too many lives in our country, & it must stop. We owe it to the victims & their loved ones to act.

Ugh…not an expert on Korean military units but the news zoomed in on a soldier’s patch and it appears the troops at the National Assembly are paratroopers/special forces. These units were responsible for the massacre of democracy protesters in Gwangju in May 1980

It took only ~2.5 hrs for the National Assembly to gather a majority of members (190 of 300) and generate a unanimous vote (190 of 190) to vote down the emergency martial law. The law says the president "shall comply" with parliament's vote, but doesn't specify a time frame.
