23-year-old Genesis Jones was shot and killed this weekend in Virginia while celebrating her brother’s birthday. At least 50 shots were fired after a nearby fight broke out. One other person was killed and seven others were injured.

With a bullet lodged in his leg, Brown University freshman Spencer Yang returned to campus last week after he was wounded in the shooting that killed two of his classmates. When asked his biggest fear in returning, Spencer said, “shooting number two.”
