Honestly, I miss when things were built to last. My dad bought a TV in the mid 80's and that thing lasted until the late 2000s before it finally stopped working. Over 20 years of reliable service. Meanwhile, you're lucky if a modern "smart TV" lasts more than maybe 5 years tops.
