Chandelure rules. You get litwick pretty early in BW and so I had him on my team the whole time. Fire/Ghost is so awesome and Gen 5 really leaned into the whole "pokemons is things" sometimes. i love his big blank eyes and color. goth. 10/10

Crobat is surprisingly big. I like that he looks tough but round. His shitty little feet also invite some fun ideas about how he lands. He's cute AND cool. 10/10

All the Gen 4 starters have impeccable sauce. No bummers. Water/Steel is amazing. Design has sauce. No complaints. I went Piplup in Gen 4 for the first time (I'm usually Fire starter pilled) 10/10

Luxray is in my top 10, easy. Pure electric is a great type, it has really good stats for the casual game and I remember it was really good in gen 4-5 UU on Smogon. I used it and Chandelure in UU and had a huge blast. Amazing fuckin poke. 10/10

not sure what to think of mawile. i like the design but for some reason the very narrow neck attaching the mouth to its head makes it look strange. when i was a kid i always imagined snipping off the mouth with scissors. 5/10

massive fan of the porygon line. an interation on a duck or drinky bird with that dead eyed stare. no notes. love the pleasant red and light blue, love the big eyes. expressive and cute. 10/10

another round one. honestly every gen 7 starter is a gargantuan chefs kiss. i like his little bowtie, i like his autism gaze, i like his color scheme. a very "do you have games on your phone" looking character. 10/10

no complaints. really good. round. baby. big fan of the eventual evolutions too. as you'll come to notice, i love "round" pokemon. 10/10

there's no way to say this nicely but this guy sucks. pure yellow, unpleasant eyes, big ass nose, no mouth. people try to make it like hes a jewish caricature but i don't see it myself. i don't know how you could like this guy. i'm so sorry hypno fans. 3/10

Gen 1 Pokemon are so much simpler than later mons. i like the purple color. i think this one is based on the plant that smells like a dead body so it's funny that it's leaning its head towards the viewer with a smile on its face like its shittily saying "hey want a smell? heheh..." 10/10
