The Kimmel monologue was 18 minutes of extraordinary, raw television that will be hated by the people who wanted him off the air for good. Trump and Brendan Carr lost this one as badly as it's possible to lose.

While making my way back through #StarTrek TOS, I keep doing one thing. During the 50 min episodes, I check the time when I feel the story lagging. It usually turns out to be around the 36-38 minute mark. TV today ends at about 42 mins. I’m not bored, but the length throws me off in modern times.

If you love #StarWars, and have a sense of humor, check out “Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past”. It’s got some of the coolest SW stuff I’ve seen in years. It’s a breath of fresh air, and a lot of fun. Also the only place to see all the Skywalkers together, as well as Baby Yoda and Regular Yoda.

If you needed more bootleg #StarTrek, how about this set for Deep Space 9? It’s only seasons 2-9, but look at how cool those cases are 🤣

One more thing about “Spock’s Brain”. I think it’s easy to dismiss it outright because of surface factors. But I truly believe the intention behind it was buried in how it was executed. It’s not so much a “bad” episode, as a lost opportunity for a comedy episode. I love it for what it is!

I want you to clear up my views on “Spock’s Brain”. 🧠 It was written by Gene L. Coon under the pen name Lee Cronin. Coon was a comedy writer, having come from “The Munsters”. I believe “Brain” was meant to be a comedy, like “I, Mudd” and “The Trouble With Tribbles”.

For anyone who needed more bootleg #StarTrek, check this out: DS9 The Chosen Collection. It’s got a hologram and typos! For some reason, fans don’t seem to realize this is not a legit set. The discs look like they’re labeled with paper labels. Like CD-Rs back in the day.

So, I was watching “Bread and Circuses” from #StarTrek and noticed Spock’s ears. It’s amazing the detail you can see in blu ray, even the division line between Nimoy’s ear and Fred Phillips make up.
