One of the "specialists" I went to see last year about my Long COVID symptoms told me these "medbeds" were coming and would "erase" my body's COVID damage. He then went on about how well they work, saying that the current President has been using it for years. I hadn't made an appt with him since.

Regarding the mental health conditions exception, the nearest Walgreens pharmacist didn't believe it was true (though it was was stated on their online form) and had me wait 45 minutes as they tried to look it up and told me to come back the next day... 1/2

This must had taken place in one of those first comic book stores, because my Dad said that THE AMAZING WORLD OF DC COMICS was only available by mail order in 1976... (Thanks to @theearth2podcast.bsky.social for the photo.)

We were glad to back this. One of my mom's favorite books, illustrated by one of her favorite artists... ...but adapted by what used to be one of our favorite writers. Although Gaiman would not receive any proceeds, we're still a bit... ambivalent about reading it. At least we can enjoy the art.

The Twit-site's new method of archiving data is awful. My private messages are arranged by DATE, and no longer by person. And the message data does not even include the other person's info, so unless I addressed the other person by name in a message, I cannot even search for their message thread...

I was just reminded about the pre-Crisis "Sand Superman" saga (from Superman #233 to #242), and how one of the results of that story was, as many fans put it, Superman's powers being cut down to half. But Superman's power level actually wasn't cut down to one-half. It was cut down to one-THIRD!
