Slept from 630pm to 330am thanks to jet lag. But vacation #2 starts today! No travel. No work. No family stress. No hosting. Just 5 days of football, futbol, food, hiking/gym, rest, relaxation, The Last Waltz, and some Beacon jams. Ahhh.

Dry aged burger #2 of the run (we are sharing) This one is Bleecker Burger. Even better than the last one. It has the kind of rich, funky dry-aged beefy flavor you’d find in a Minnetta Tavern Black Label burger. Only it’s served fast casual in a food hall. Speechless (outside of this speech)

First dry-aged burger of the run. Dry-aged burgers in the U.S. are a rare delicacy, while here they serve them in mini-chain food hall stands. This would be an easy top 5 burger in NYC—at least as of several years ago. (Went Miso Bacon btw)

Your innie, an Eggy fan, waited on a massive line in the cold for an artisanal cinnamon roll to appreciate all the nuanced flavors and textures. Your outtie, a Dogs fan, got high as balls and went to Cinnabon instead. Didn’t miss a thing.

There are these cinnamon roles that people literally wait 1-2 hours for. We caught the line just right so it will be 15-min. I asked multiple people in line if it’s worth it. All said absolutely. But, they’ve never had Cinnabon so I’m dying to know if some Brit recreated Cinnabon’s warm jizz.

We haven’t traveled a ton (still never done Asia) but we’ve done a decent amount of America and Europe to make some assessments. How fun it is to eat in London always blows us away given we grew up thinking their food was all boring and bland.
