Dennis Schroder is a good get for a team that desperately needs just a point guard, which is why the Warriors traded for him last year when they desperately needed just a point guard. He is not a good get at $15M/year. The second and third year are each worse than the last.

This has been the long shadow of Luka Doncic. The Kings destroyed their franchise at the deadline, nobody noticed because another team did the same thing, and the team that did it worse got rewarded with the #1 overall pick while the Kings lost their pick entirely.

The LaRavia thing is incredible because this horrible break for Sacramento is also a bad enough switch from DFS for the Lakers that people are joking about it. Losing out on a situation and people don't even notice.

Jake LaRavia was, no joke, the only good break for the Kings after the trade deadline. LaVine and Valanciunas had good stretches, but they're proven veterans. LaRavia was trending up and clearly very useful as a depth wing. Now he's on the fucking Lakers.
