Pretty much, as it cuts down on tracking, malware and other such undesirable stuff. Nothing is perfect and VPN companies aren't perfect actors in any event, but then, in my particular case if the government wants to find me, I'm in the literal phone book. I'm just looking to minimize annoyances.
