Painting in progress … When I paint a landscape with lots of depth, I like to work back to front. This allows me to carefully adjust the colors as the get closer to the viewer.

Learn my process! I sketch my composition using alcohol markers from Copic. I only use browns because it’s dark enough to see through my first few layers, but then disappears by the time I get to the final coats. These double ended markers have a great brush tip.
