So, what does our study find? The RxKids program is a program that started in Flint, which provides universal benefits during pregnancy & the first year of a child's life. We find that the "demand-side" effects of the program are sufficient to provide sizable spillover benefits.

My colleague Brad Hershbein has a useful thread -- backed by data -- that argues that (1) the overall labor market has been weakening, which does tend to hurt younger workers entering the labor market; (2) but young BAs are not necessarily the ones who are worse off, if we look at employment rates.
