Don’t be surprised if the Trump administration just turns this into an event to shake down rich foreign investors once they’re in custody

The vestiges of fascism, should we ever escape it, should be publicly and vengefully annihilated. Bulldoze the ballroom. Blow up the arch, if it ever gets built. Shred the plane for scrap. Strip his name off everything. Seize his skyscraper and implode it.

I went to another all-female Seven Sister (Mount Holyoke) and I can *promise* you this won’t end well … for Trump. He has no idea how committed to equality—and how politically savvy and resource-heavy—the alum networks of the Seven Sisters are.

We need Democrats to pledge that they will be every bit as ruthless as Republicans fear we will be. This is the most corrupt, lawless administration in history. If we don't hold people accountable—with real, serious consequences—it will only be worse next time.

Missouri's murder rate is 73% HIGHER than California’s. No amount of right-wing spinning can change reality: our state is investing in prevention, enforcement, and is holding criminals accountable. The U.S. Senator from Missouri should fix his own failed policies before lecturing us.

I'm proud to announce that we have won the war—the one we’re fighting right now, indefinitely. We've declared victory, which will help morale during the next few years of battle. In fact, we won this war so well that we need about 200 billion of your tax dollars to keep winning it.

All of these are policies they're already supposed to be following. So why would anyone believe they'll start following them in exchange for DHS funding. I mean, come on. The proper response to "We won't deport U.S. citizens if you fund DHS" is, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

I actually think everybody should pay state income taxes. Even if it’s totally minimal—it’s a message that we are all paying for our civilization I’d propose the bottom rung pay say 11 cents per thousand of dollars made. But we all share it It’s a societal investment and ownership mindset
