Counts from Felpham to Middleton last couple of evenings. 11 Brent Geese and 2 Sandwich Terns late yesterday. Ringed Plover roost up to 41, with max count of 175 Med Gulls including 4 colour ringed birds. Small but steady passage of Mippits , Skylark and 1 Siskin. #Sussexbirds

Late walk down the beach in pretty blustery conditions. From the Lobster Pot to Hannah's Groyne 37 Ringed Plover, 12 Turnstone and 3 Sanderling off HG,with 75 Med Gulls loafing off the LP the best. #Felpham #SussexBirds

I met the Hayling Island Swamp Cat today. Killed on a road in 1988, where it came from remains a mystery....

She'll be home within the hour! That time of year, as Whoopers crisscross the country heading home to Iceland. Always leaves me happy with a hint of sadness! Watching AAF's migration playing out on my laptop, a glimpse into her life, is such a privilege, she's got 30km to go 💛

WeBs count in the meadows yesterday ended a total of 59 species. Reduced numbers, but still a good variety of waterfowl on site. Big increase in Pipit and Wagtails and a Coal Tit (patch gold). Decent flock of chatty Fieldfare and Redwing #Coombehill #GlosBirds
