Well that's me done at Chelmarsh for the
#WestMidsAllDayer
. Bit of a mixed day with a lot of disturbance. Lots of sailing going on also strimming around the scrape. Common birds missing GSW, kestrel and m thrush etc, but some good birds as well Ruff, barn owl, yel wag, redstart & spot fly. Total 72

Lovely early morning walk in the Wyre, multiple pied fly, redstart, tree pipit, etc and 2 singing wood warbler. Wood warbler surely have to be one of the best warblers in the uk.

Quick dash down to Grimley for the summer plumaged BNG at clp. Showed really well in the NE corner, though did disappear for about 15 mins, presumably went into reeds before coming out again to its favoured area. Also sedge warbler on the north causeway.

We left a pair of Swarovski NL 10x42 on top of the car at East Chevington, Northumberland yesterday and then stupidly walked away, 5 minutes later we realised then returned but they were gone, I know it's a long shot but nobody on here picked them up and are trying to return them?

First visit to Chelmarsh Reservoir for a while, good numbers of warblers about , at least 20 Chiff, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Reed and Willow, also Redstart (juv/fem), Spotted fly and Green sand on the scrape. 51 sp total.
