I really want ppl w/o Minneapolis connections to understand You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen *Everyone has stories like this*

Scott Adams had one joke. It was a pretty good joke when it was fresh! But he was a shit person even then. He continued to be a shit person throughout the rest of his life. He was financially successful, and while it's sad that newspaper comics collapsed, he didn't feel any of that pain.

I read Dilbert and Cathy every single day! I think it was definitely an interest in adult life generally rather than cubicle fetishization.

So Scott Adams actually died. Huh. I had wondered if it would be an endless reveal of diagnoses and scammy miracle treatments like Jordan Peterson. I can think of few people who will be less missed. He doesn't seem to have anyone close in his life, and his political allies aren't the type to mourn.

4yrs ago today, we helped @catsprotection.bsky.social trap this tiny, hungry, limping feral kitty. He wasn't happy about staying in our spare room for a month after a vet visit. But then he discovered duvets. And after we released him, i went for a nap. Woke up to discover he'd decided to move in.

This is Violet - isn't she beautiful? For some reasons the other outdoor ducks all picked on her and no matter what social combination we tried she ended up hiding, so we brought her indoors to live with the bunnies and special needs birds.

Well, that was a funny conversation. Weeks of vague miscommunications, and we just realized that despite our job titles, we are each informally "the lawyer" at work.
