AI search is 5.6% of search traffic rn and has grown 126% yoy. 98% of chatGPT users still use google. They just route by query type now: LLMs handle more research/complex q's, search handles more transactional/navigational searches. Seems more like a behavioral split and not direct replacement.

A note for sports: Bluesky’s engagement rate was x10 higher than X’s across a sampling of identical posts made on both platforms by @rapsheet.bsky.social (sharing with permission) Fwiw we see a similar trend across all communities, not just sports. Real people, real conversations.

fedica.com lets you post and schedule content simultaneously to both Bluesky and X. The free plan includes one account per platform.

Fun fact: Bluesky is outperforming Twitter on conversions for my Kickstarter by 900%. Despite it having the most followers of any platform for me, Twitter is converting at lower numbers than EVERY OTHER social media platform I'm using (Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Bluesky).

The "follow" button confounds "I'm looking at your content" and "I endorse this content." We need two different ways to signal the difference between the two.

@boston.gov onboarded all their agencies to Bluesky to engage with Bostonians. Whether it's broken sidewalks, missing signage, or community issues, they want to hear from constituents. With little to no engagement on X, their actual interactions on bsky have increased. Engagement > follower count
