Celebrated Jฤลi (midsummer) in Latvia this year! Bonfires and dancing till dawn, flower and oak wreaths, songs about Saule, the sun goddess, that are older than the churches. The Baltics hold a surviving piece of old Europe in living tradition.

in 100 days. We only used bluesky for social comms. We asked while welcoming folks, and most of them got involved after reading our bsky posts. Thanks for building and running bluesky. This network is a great place to do open source ๐

I guess I'm still learning the fundamental features of bluesky, and didn't fully appreciate how fun atproto can be. What do you mean it's possible to write scripts to generate posts!? I'm just so used to walled garden nonsense that it's shocking when you have an API to use.

We hear the concerns about AI. Our goal is to use this technology to give people greater control, not to generate content. Attie uses AI to help you create custom feeds without having to know how to code.

Attie has one initial function: build personalized custom feeds. I love the moss feed, but maybe I'm in the mood for more variety. Show me "pictures of moss, posts about medieval ballads, deep lore about trees, herbs, and plants."
