STREAMPLACE v0.9.1 is live now!!! Two big features: 1. Teleportation! This is Streamplace's take on "raiding" or "hosting". When you're wrapping up your stream, type /teleport user.example.com in chat and send your viewers over to someone else!

Getting some questions about Streamplace's login page, so wanted to do a quick clarification. "Streamplace, why do you ask for so many permissions on my Bluesky account?" Current guidance from Bluesky is that these are the scopes that should be requested by all production applications. That's it.

New blog post! How Streamplace Works: Syndication Up until now, most Streamplace users have been using one big server at stream.place. With Streamplace 0.8, you can actually replicate streams on your own nodes. Borrowing a term from broadcast TV, we call this syndication. Here's how it works:
