Had a pretty profound and revitalizing moment in life today. Stood up for science with my father (and lots of other scientists, and non-scientists too). Like my father’s father before us, we Maniatii don’t sit around when fascism is on the move.

field needs to police itself. I rarely see the point in sharing disapproval for published papers. Let bygones be bygones, I suppose. Several days ago, however, a new paper came out. My assessment is that it is bogus.
