Recently had to travel to JFK and took the AirTrain. Not so surprised that the sport Authority encourages driving and no use of their trains. Maybe they should offer AirTrain riders the same deep discounted fare tho

Neighbourhood streets only work as low-stress cycling routes if the motorists that we share them with understand patience and lower their own stress. I'm really pissed right now that we had 7 motorists who couldn't control themselves behind a mom and 5yo trying to bike to the f'n library.

Brought my bike downtown for a ride after work (I usually work from home) started on one trail and then ended up on another (midtown Greenway) and took the chance to visit the Alex Pretti memorial when I realized I was close. Just stayed there quiet for a bit. Shared time with a fellow cyclist.

What if every red light ticket the NYPD gave to cyclists since late 2019 was bogus? This is the implication of a decision issued by a judge in Manhattan last week, who ruled that the state law cops use to ticket cyclists for running red lights is "inapplicable."
