My recap of 2025 best moments. The last 12 months have been a lot of fun. My Brompton Bicycle and all the adventures we’ve had reminds me just how much joy cycling has brought into my life giving me a sense of freedom, adventure, and connection to the world around me. Happy New Year to you all!😁

No cycling for me for a while due to an accident. A motorcycle crashed into me while I was cycling home from work last week. I’m devastated and frustrated that I won’t be able to ride, but I know it’s time to take it easy, focus on recovery, and get back on two wheels as soon as I can.

Cycling in the fog & this kind of weather brings a quiet joy and a spark of excitement, making every ride feel like a small adventure. The cold bites at first, but as soon as you start pedalling, your body warms up and the rhythm of the ride takes over, turning the chill into part of the experience.

It’s Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week, a fun reminder that it’s great to stand out and celebrate what makes us all unique! I figured if I’m going to wear odd socks, I might as well take it up a level and wear odd trainers too. Let’s spread kindness, celebrate differences & make every step count!

World Menopause Day 2025!💛 Cycling through Menopause🚴🏾‍♀️ This year marks 11 years since I was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) which is sometimes referred to as premature menopause. My journey started at 25! It’s been a long road - but I’m still riding strong.

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons where the colours around you change..🍁

I used my Beeline to get around the city. I’m so impressed with cycling in Paris. As a woman riding solo, I never once felt unsafe the cycle lanes are so well designed and protected that they create a real sense of freedom and ease. It’s such a refreshing experience to move through a busy city.

The bike lane infrastructure in Paris was amazing. I couldn’t get over how many cycle lanes there were. The city is incredibly bike-friendly, with countless protected paths that are fully separated from cars and traffic, making it safe and enjoyable to get around on two wheels.

It feels so great to be back on the saddle. I’ve absolutely missed my Brompton Bicycle. I had a long 3 weeks break from cycling because of my sprained knee and I was away on holiday in Morocco. I am now looking forward to my bike trip to Paris in a week’s time.. Can’t wait to explore the city…

All packed up and ready to go! Let the Summer holidays begin. Unfortunately, I will not be taking my Brompton with me on this trip. As I need to have time to recover so I am ready for my next trip at the end of August so I can cycle around in that city!…😁

It is possible to attach crutches to the Brompton! 🤩 I ended up strapping it onto the bag so it doesn’t move around. I’m so grateful for this Electric Brompton Bicycle if it wasn’t for this I don’t think I would be able to cycle around with ease. I’ve ended up with a sprained knee.😔

We’ve started the first bike bus in Wandsworth. Big thanks to Millie from @sustrans.bsky.social for getting it rolling! All the children enjoyed the ride to school and had breakfast at the end..

What a hot day… Cycling around in hot weather might seem exhausting at first, but the constant breeze you generate as you move can actually make you feel cooler.

New helmet day! This foldable helmet is amazing! It’s by Newlane I just love how you can just fold it up and put it into a bag instead of hanging off a bag or the bike. This is so cool. The helmet feels so comfortable and I can feel the breeze. Picture of a folded Brompton and a folded helmet.

I went on a bike ride last weekend with @wandsworthcycling.bsky.social for the London Cycling Festival!Midway through the ride. I had a funny moment when a photographer stopped me & asked if I was famous! I couldn’t even respond at first just trying to process the question!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a very long bike ride. I’ve definitely pushed my limits today. I felt NO pain in my knees which is great. I guess the medication I’m on is working. 🤩 Big thanks to my cycling buddy for getting me out. Just like the good old day where I used to cycle for miles.🚴🏾‍♀️

And that’s a wrap! The half term is finally here, bringing a well-deserved break for everyone. As we head into the holiday, we also had to say a heartfelt good-bye to our little ducklings, who are now returning to the farm. They’ve brought so much joy, curiosity, and excitement to our days.

It was an excited day at school today to see all the 5 little ducklings hatched and had grown so big over the weekend. It was nice giving them cuddles and watching them swim in the water.

Love this t-shirt @londoncycling.bsky.social It just showed how much I love cycling🤩 It’s was our sports day today. I wore this top to match the children PE kit! I did take part in the teachers race well instead of running I walked. The assistant head teacher was walking with me so I wasn’t alone

I knew my rack on my Brompton will come in handy! I did get paranoid when cycling around kept on checking behind me to see if it was still there..😂

Mental health awareness week! Always remember to be kind to yourself. A bike ride a day keeps the stress away.

Had a great bike ride with @wandsworthcycling.bsky.social today, cruising from Battersea Park to Hyde Park. The weather was perfect, the route was smooth, and it was awesome riding through some of London’s most beautiful parks. Always a good time with this group!

Hammersmith Bridge has finally reopened for both pedestrians and cyclists after being closed for over seven years. Although there was a brief reopening last year, it was short-lived and limited to cyclists only. Now, seeing it fully open again feels great.

A family that rides together, stays together! What a wonderful day it was full of joy and unforgettable memories. I managed to rally up at least 40 members of my family to join me for a bike ride and it was amazing. The sound of laughter & the excitement was contagious as we rode together.

Best part of Spring is when all the flowers start to bloom! The colours are so beautiful. Lap around Richmond Park was lovely and well needed.

Five years ago today, we were all put into lockdown, and I made one of the biggest decisions of my life to start cycling. What began as a necessity, commuting to work as a key worker, quickly turned into a passion.

I can’t get enough of these beautiful trees! Spring is one of my favorite seasons it’s a time of renewal, warmth, and color. Everywhere I look, nature is waking up, and it’s absolutely breathtaking!
