I share the worry of trans people at the prospect of PM Wes Streeting. At Health he ignored the voices of young trans people and restricted gender-affirming care, causing harm to a generation. It is up to Labour to choose its leader, but members must also choose a better direction on trans rights

Organisations that decide to take a stand for trans people, have the guts to see it through. You know you will be dragged through the press. If you are just going to back down when it gets a little rough the don’t start. It helps no one and trans people and their true allies respect you less.

Today's ruling on the EHRC's interim guidance is a disappointing, confusing and mixed picture. A trans woman who is a customer in a café can use the women's toilets, but if she works there she might not be able to. Once again everyday life is being made a legal labyrinth for trans people.

"Judges swear an oath to 'do right to all manner of people after the laws and usages of this realm, without fear or favour, affection or ill will.' All manner of people and without fear or favour. We need to tell them that trans lives are real and they matter."

Going through a box of old family photos and I found this. It leads me to two conclusions. 1. I possibly had a trans relative from over 100yrs ago. All strength to her. 2. The bigots would abuse this lady if they saw her in the toilets because they are anti-feminist and in fact can’t always tell!

Ok. They’ve pissed me off. I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards: 1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

Had a response from Ocado assuring me that they are taking steps to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

I first saw and shared this about an hour ago when the total was about 550k. It’s now over 630k. That’s a huge increase in such a short time. You can sit and watch the number of people telling the government to fuck off rising by hundreds every minute.
