The Council of Europe votes by 2/3 majority to accept the resolution banning conversion practices, brought by UK MP @kateosbornemp.bsky.social. #SexMatters and #AthenaForum tried their best to derail this resolution, but failed. Huge well done to everybody involved 🙌🙌🙌

Sex Matters crowdfunded and spaffed £66,411 up the wall (as the phrase goes) to try and stop trans women from swimming in the women's pond in Hampstead; something virtually no one was asking for (86% of consulted users voted for the status quo). Meanwhile women services are desperate for funding...

Sex Matters repeatedly tries to bully organisations into discriminating against trans and non-binary individuals through legal action. That's even when the majority of people affected, as in this case don't support them. Good to see them being dismissed like this. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

A few things jump out at me. 1. Only 78% of respondents lived within London (74%) or the southeast (4%). It seems unlikely that the remaining 22% were regular users of the ponds, although 84% said they had used them. 1/

Turns out Sex Matters aren't as expert on the law as they have been telling everyone. I hope the continued failure of anti-trans cases makes organisations who are considering capitulating to these groups rethink.

I genuinely don't know what to say about this stuff anymore. It's deliberate disinformation. There can be no other explanation.

Sex Matters is trying to frame themselves as victims (again) because a judge told them they couldn’t bring a case as an organisation AND they were using the wrong court! Also, the City ABSOLUTELY defended the law as it stands - it’s why anti-trans lobby group, Sex Matters’ started the case! 🤷🏼‍♀️
