The Palestine Action ban has completely changed what legally defined terrorism in the UK looks like People arrested for terror offences are now much more likely to be women and dramatically older - arrests linked to Palestine Action had an average age of 57 compared to 30 for other groups

The figures are for the year to September, compared to the previous 12 months They show a 660% rise in arrests under counter-terrorism powers. 1,630 of all arrests (86%) linked to Palestine Action after ban on 5 July, mostly for holding signs reading: "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action"
