Maybe it’s just the assemblage of tops and tails activating the Scottish lizard brain of visceral hatred, but this really does feel like a powerful illustration of so much of what is wrong with the world gathered in a single room.

A NICE INDIAN BOY is streaming now on Hulu. This film is 2024’s version of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING. It’s so sweet and kind and INCREDIBLY well-acted. In another era it would have been the breakout hit of a season. High recommend.
