The other part that sucks about it is trying to have it both ways. Have implied queer characters so queer fans part with their money while being plausibly deniable so homophobes also part with their money. It makes sense if the story would have been censored otherwise but nowadays it is just scummy.

It may be controversial, but I prefer the Prometheus design as a single single ship over the three separating ships. These images are from Robert Bonchune who worked on the series - Bonchune archived various production cg assets, which would be lost otherwise.

Many see the Multi-Vector Assault Mode the thing that makes Prometheus special, but I think what makes this ship cool is its striking appearance. You look at the individual pieces, they all look silly on their own, but as a whole, it looks really cool.
